AGI AMAZON 3D SHINE is the very latest in cutting edge keratin technology. It is derived from the Cacay tree which is predominantly found in the Amazon rainforest.
As we all know the Amazon was subjected to large scale bush fires last year and thousands of hectares of forestation was lost, so as part of the plan to reforest the Amazon the Colombian government have decided to replant a huge amount of rainforest using the Cacay tree.
Why? The Cacay tree produces a nut and from this nut comes an oil. The oil has become so popular and sought after that the income it is producing is now helping with funding of the reforestation of the Amazon. In fact, sales of the nut oil have soared 9000% in the last year alone.

CUTTING EDGE KERATIN TECHNOLOGY
Step 01: Conduct a consultation of your clients hair, it is important to determine the result your client is after. Determine all the past services your client has had on their hair and visually assess the hair to ensure it’s level of health. All these factors determine how long Agi Amazon should be left on the client’s hair to process so it is extremely important to run a thorough consultation.
Step 02: At the basin use the Agi Amazon deep cleansing shampoo to prep the clients hair, Agi Amazon shampoo is specifically built for the treatment and will cleanse the clients hair removing any impurities leaving the hair ready to start the treatment. Leave the first shampoo on the clients hair for 4-5 minutes to process before rinsing. Repeat the shampoo process and rinse immediately.
PRO TIP: When applying the shampoo it’s a flat handed shampoo
Step 03: Rinse the hair well and towel dry the client’s hair to remove all the excess moisture.
PRO TIP: At this stage here you can spray the Agi Max Faultless Seal, the Reconstructing Fluid penetrates into the deeper layer of the hair, releasing its active ingredients creating resistance, shine and reconstruction.
Step 04: Apply Agi Amazon Intense Liss 3D to the client’s hair, use a tint bowl and brush to apply 2mm from the clients roots, mid lengths and ends use a applicator bottle to apply the treatment. It’s important to ensure the clients hair is saturated with the treatment but not dripping. Comb through the clients hair to ensure the Agi Amazon treatment is evenly distributed from the roots - ends.
PROCESSING TIMES:
50 Minutes - Highly lightened hair that shows damage (previously used 20 vol + or high lift tint)
70 Minutes - For normal coloured hair in good condition.
90 Minutes - For virgin or resistant hair.
Step 05: After the processing time has been complete, take the client over to the basin and rinse the Agi Amazon Intense Liss 3D out of the clients hair, Rinse thoroughly for 5-7 minutes ensuring all of the treatment has been removed and the water runs clear.
Step 06: Remove excess water from the clients hair and apply a small amount of the Agi Amazon conditioner to the clients hair from mid lengths - ends working your way through the hair in circular motions. Leave the conditioner in for 3-5 minutes before rinsing.
PRO TIP: If you used the Agi Max Faultless seal spray in the earlier steps, in this step replace the conditioner with the Agi Max Hydration Mask & Reconstructor.
Step 07: Towel dry the clients hair and remove all excess moisture, then dry the hair completely with a paddle brush in a downward motion to dry the hair, or you may use a round brush if preferred.
Step 08: Divide the clients hair into quarters (¼).
Step 09: Ensure the size of your sections are around 5mm’s, use your AGI T8 soft close-iron over the hair 7-14 times depending on the condition of the hair. 10-14 times is recommended for resilient virgin hair.
IRON HEAT LEVELS:
180 - 200 Degrees - Highly lightened hair.
200 - 210 Degrees - Coloured hair in good condition.
210 - 230 Degrees - For virgin hair
IMPORTANT AFTERCARE TIPS:
Ensure client reactivates the treatment with heat to ensure longevity of the treatment. A blow dry and heat style is recommended.

It has a foaming action, which cleanses the hair deeply, removing impurities and preparing the hair toreceive the treatment Without damaging the hair fibres.
HOW TO USE:
Apply a small amount to wet hair, gently massaging until a thick foam is obtained, rinse thoroughly and repeat the process if necessary.
